Lordanos is the perfect example for an uncomplicated top-class sport horse.
Hestarted his career with a series of almost 40 wins in showjumper tests up to intermediate level, and won several qualification tests for the Federal Championship. Meanwhile Lordanos has achieved numerous wins and high placements in advanced tests, amongst which were many Grand Prix classes. In 2003 Hendrik Sosath captured his first advanced test win on Lordanos, and further victories followed in 2004, e.g. at the German Junior Championship in Steinfeld. At the HGW Cup in Dortmund, Hendrik and Lordanos achieved rank four.
Lordanos' hereditary qualities have surpassed every expectation. He delivered the 2003 Holstein reserve champion mare “Perina”, and many of his sons were approved for various breeding areas, e.g. “Lissabon”, who was the best stallion at the 30 day test in Münster-Handorf, and likewise “Loredano” in Neumünster, as well as the premium stallion “Lord Weingard”, who became the best showjumper stallion in Vechta in 2003. At the 2004 approval in Kreuth, one of his sons became the best showjumper of the whole contestant group.
At the 2004 approval of the Showjumper Breeding Association Oldenburg International, a Lordanos son was reserve champion.
The progeny from Lordanos' first foal age classes caused furore in 2004. At the Federal Showjumper Championship in Warendorf, three of them reached the finals of the 5-year-olds, and his son “Lumos” became the unequivocal champion of the 6-year-olds.
Lordanos pedigree is based on the Holstein “Ramiro line” 776, which not only brought forth the stallion of the century Ramiro, but also Calvados I and II, Cortino I and II, Captain Incipit, Lord Incipit, as well as many other international sports horses. |
