9.5 high score in Dobrock – show jumping specialist with excellent rideability Even in his first show jumping season, Conthargos proved to be a consistent performer who achieved excellent scores. The highlight of his season was definitely his win at the Championship for Four Year Old Show Jumping Horses in Dobrock, where he led the field with a score of 9.5. He has also received scores as high as 9.0 in 1.20 m classes for novice horses, which means he has a safe ticket to next year’s Bundeschampionat. Conthargos has inherited the performance genes of his sire Converter, 17 times winner of show jumping classes for novice horses up to 1.30 m level, Oldenburg Regional Champion in 2005 and second-best show jumping stallion at the World Championship in Lanaken. The maternal grandsire, Carthago Z, competed with Jos Lansink at the Atlanta Olympic Games, coming in eleventh place in the individual competition, and he has produced numerous top horses. Carthago’s progeny have won more than 2.2 million euro in total. Conthargos’ pedigree is optimally rounded off with Latus and Sandro. His first crop of foals are distinguished by their fluent movement and beautiful type.
