Heartbreaker is sired by the world famous ‘preferent’ stallion Nimmerdor. To name a few of Nimmerdor’s wellknown progeny: Zadok, Goldenbridge, Garavola, Up to Date and Aldato. Nimmerdor himself earned his laurels in the jumping ring in the hands of Albert Voorn and Bert Romp. Grandmother Cleopatra is also the dam of the international jumper Wendela, which with Jennie Zoer was 10th at the W.E.G. at Stockholm and the approved stallion Gershwin. Furthermore Heartbreaker is within a few generations related back to the international jumpers; Suleiman, Dolanda, Elanda and Garavola. The thoroughbred stallions Uppercut xx and El Gaucho xx are essential in Heartbreaker's pedigree. As a six year old Heartbreaker was 5th at the World Championship for young horses at Lanaken. In the following year he was 4th at Lanaken in the World Championships. Since then Heartbreaker has performed at 1.40 m. level with Peter
They were 3rd in Oslo and they won a Volvo Car in the Finals of Indoor Wierden in 1997. They also won the title 'Best Stallion' at the 1.40 class in Zwolle. In 1998 Heartbreaker started his first Grand Prix. He was 3rd in the G.P. of Hamburg, Falsterbro and Geesteren. In 1999 Heartbreaker continued his successful career by finishing 4th in the prestigious Grand Prix of Aachen and winning the ‘Championat’ of Dortmund. In Belgium and Holland, Heartbreaker has been leading the jumping index for the last three years. The oldest offspring of Heartbreaker, performed when they were only 8 years old at the very top with phenomenal results, for example, Quasimodo van de Molendreef, Quartz Music, Quintin, Quasimodo, Saffier and Zip and Zip. At only 14 years old Heartbreaker has already more than 10 approved sons, among them the superb jumping stallions Orlando, Padinus and Regilio. Heartbreaker leads the jumping index with a staggering score of 168 points.
